Warts are small, excess skin growths forming anywhere on the body. Usually, they are rough in texture and may even look like a solid blister. Warts are commonly found in skin color, but they can also have a dark brown or black color. A wart appears on the body when a particular virus comes in contact with the skin. They also occur when a wound comes in contact with a wart’s virus. This virus belongs to the Human Papillomavirus or HPV family. However, warts can be treated with the help of Warts Removal Treatment in Bangalore

Types of Warts

  • Deep plantar warts
They appear on the foot sole, mostly on the heel area. They may appear in groups or a single cluster. Plantar warts have a soft core, surrounded by a firm ring. They may bleed when itched. Mosaic wart is a popular type of plantar wart.

  • Periungual warts
Appear on the area around fingernails or toenails. They appear soft and shiny but get rough, firm, and larger with time. They are dirty brown-grey or black and can be painful. More common among nail biters, they can lead to permanent deformity of the nails if left untreated.
